Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how TrytonApp (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at trytonapp.com (the “Site”).
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience. Cookies may be set by the website you're visiting (“first-party cookies”) or by third-party services (“third-party cookies”).
2. Mobile App vs. Website
The Tryton mobile application does not use cookies. The app uses local device storage (similar to cookies but specific to mobile apps) to store authentication tokens, user preferences, and cached data. This data remains on your device and is cleared when you log out.
This Cookie Policy applies only to the trytonapp.com website, not the mobile app.
3. Cookies We Use on the Website
3.1 Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. They enable core functionality such as security and accessibility. You cannot opt out of essential cookies.
3.2 Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about page views, traffic sources, and user behavior. This helps us improve the website and understand which content is most useful.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains session state | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users | 24 hours |
Google Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized. We do not combine this data with personally identifiable information. For more details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Managing Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:
- View what cookies are stored on your device
- Delete all or specific cookies
- Block cookies from being set
- Configure your browser to notify you when cookies are being set
Note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of some websites.
Opting Out of Google Analytics
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want to be tracked. There is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals, but you can opt out of analytics tracking using the methods described above.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
