Verified hours for honor society chapters

What chapters use it for

• Study hour expectations. Set a weekly goal and let members log verified time at the library or a designated study room.
• Tutoring and academic service. Create a zone at the tutoring center or the classroom where your chapter runs help sessions. Hours logged there count toward whatever your bylaws say they count toward.
• Probationary members. Tag members with a GPA condition and give that tag a higher weekly goal. Their progress shows separately in compliance views.
• End-of-term reporting. Export a CSV or PDF covering the whole term for the chapter advisor or the national office.

How verification works

Officers draw study zones on a map. A member can start a session only while inside a zone, and the app checks that they are still there with periodic pulse checks. Leaving the zone or ignoring a pulse check ends the session. Members never have to remember to clock out, and officers never have to reconcile a sheet.

Faculty advisors

Add a faculty advisor with the observer role. They can view compliance and analytics on the web at admin.trytonapp.com without a study requirement of their own and without the ability to change chapter settings.

Privacy

TrytonApp checks a member's location only while they are using the app or have an active session. Officers see hours and goal status, not a location history. Members can export or delete their own data from inside the app. See the privacy policy for the full list of what is collected.

Pricing

Free for up to 20 members and 2 zones. Pro is $149 per year for unlimited members and zones. Pro Plus is $199 per year and adds GPA tracking. Prices are per chapter, not per member. Setup takes about ten minutes; the setup guide walks through it.
