Weekly goals and tags

A goal is the number of hours a member needs in a week to be counted as compliant. You can set one for everyone, or different goals for different groups.

Updated

Three levels of goals

Open the Organization tab and tap Weekly Hours. You will see three sections:

  • Organization-wide required hours. The default for every member who has nothing more specific. Set this first.
  • Tag group required hours. A goal attached to a tag. Every member in the tag gets this goal instead of the organization-wide one. This is how GPA tiers usually work: a New Member tag at 6 hours, an On Probation tag at 8, and so on.
  • Per-user required hours. A goal for one specific member, overriding both of the above. Useful for a documented exception.

The most specific goal wins: per-user, then tag, then organization-wide. A goal stays in effect for future weeks until you change it, so you do not have to re-enter it every Monday.

Tags

Tags group members. Every organization gets two default tags, At Risk and On Probation, on any plan. Pro and Pro Plus let you create your own, such as New Member, Exec Board, or Seniors. Open the Organization tab and tap Tags to create tags and assign members. A member can be in more than one tag; the compliance view lets you filter by any of them.

On Pro Plus, TrytonApp can also set each member's hours automatically from GPA rules you define, so a member whose GPA drops below your threshold picks up the higher requirement without anyone editing a goal by hand.

Week start day and timezone

Open Organization settings to choose which day your week starts and which US timezone the chapter runs on. Goals, the leaderboard, weekly emails, and exports all use this week definition. Chapters that review at a Sunday meeting usually start the week on Monday so the numbers are final by the meeting.

Adjusting a member's hours

When a member has a legitimate reason for missing hours, or logged time that the app could not capture, an owner or admin can add an hour override for that week with a reason. Overrides are visible across the app and in exports as not zone-verified, so the adjustment is transparent. Hour override controls are turned on in Organization settings.

Export compliance reports shows how goals appear in the CSV and PDF. The policy template is a starting point if your chapter has not written its tiers down yet.
